How does PCSX2 run on a macbook pro 2006 (using bootcamp)?

What hardware does the notebook have? We'll need to know CPU name and speed in Ghz and GPU name.

Yep.
It tells me that you should be able to run less demanding games (including many 3D titles) at
pretty nice speeds. Make sure to enable the recommended speedhacks and that you don't use
a too high D3D internal resolution in GSdx (as your GPU is a tad weak).

It'll be better due to GSdx beeing available.
However, I learned the other day that bootcamp is some kind of emulation software.
Sure hope it comes with full native performance or else Apple really screwed it up Tongue2

Unfortunately, what you have said, is not true. A MacBook running Boot Camp is actually running as a true Windows PC, and is able to access all the system resources Windows demands and can run my favorite games without any problems. An emulator simply slow things down.
