How is WRC4 in newer versions?

I'm interested in playing this game in PCSX2 since it was my favorite racing game on PS2 back in the day. But according to the compatibility list, it's one of the very few games that are unplayable (my luck, lol). However, it seems that the last version of PCSX2 tested with this game is 1.3. So i was wondering if anyone tested the game with a recent version.

download pcsx2 1.4.0, pop your PS2 dvd in your PC and give it a try. that should take approx. 15 mn (provoded your internet connection is extremely low)
