I think C# is good choice because it's more simple than C++.

C# is very close to java and nah C++ isn't that bad. I took one intro to programming class in Java then went straight into C+. Java annoys me now cause it gets mad if I try multiple classes per file.

Many people (including me) make a mistake by learning c or java as their first lang. I think learners should learn javascript, php, python and then learn complex langs like c and java

Then why not learn in this order

QBasic --> HTML/Visual Basic --> C/Java --> C++

I think that would be better.
