How to use beta builds?
#1
I would like to know how can I use beta builds. They don't have setup function and also don't have folders in users/documents. So how can I do for have memcard files, etc?
I also ask for it to ShadowLady but I don't understand very well.
If I put the beta.exe file in the base folder of pcsx2 0.9.8 r4600, then I haven't the updated files of beta like plugins or patch file.

What beta builds? Whole pcsx2 is at beta stage I guessTongue, you mean SVN builds? Like ones from here: http://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/ ? Or something else?

Then you just extract the 7z file(if you don't have any program that can do it: http://www.7-zip.org) to any folder you choose and you'll get something that looks exactly like normal installation folder. After you run it, you can select the folders to your previous config/savestates/snapshots/memcards/bios without any problem.

Just make note, latest svn builds changed savestate versions, so old savestates will most likely not work with them.
