How well will PSCX2 run with my computer?
#1
New to the forum and as I can see this question is asked regularly ^^

My system:
Phenom II X4 955BE @ 4.2GHz
2x2GB 1600 CL6
2 x HD5770 (Crossfire)

The games that I am interested in running are mainly RPG's mostly the Xenosaga-series.

Also abit more indepth, how many threads(CPU) do PCSX2 support and is Crossfire supported?

It should work very well! 4.2 on AMD I believe is over the recommendation for a 3.6 Intel. However; PCSX2 will only use 2 cores, 2 threads and only one of your GPUs will be utilized. I believe xeno was one of the easier games to emulate but I can't remember.

Sweet!Biggrin If the CPU is enough I might aswell try out my GPU then.

You may need to disable crossfire for PCSX2 (dual GPUs are buggy in the emu and are generally SLOWER than single GPU) but besides that MOST games will run well.
