From a site where i usually get stuff.Turns out they uploaded the wrong driver.I was pissed.I couldnt use browser!A friend had to give me the right one.He had to,IT WAS HIS FAULT!He gave me that link... Laugh

This happens to me almost every time I try to update my video drivers and after I fix that,I get tons' of other problems so I stay with 81.98

Actually this happens because the Nvidia Settings Control Panel cannot start.Wonder why?
Im currently with 196.21 dunno if this is latest but ill leave it like that...

hahaha, it's a world of colors comparing to what I actually had for long time... Smile

In time: My Nvidia driver today is the 258.69, from Nvidia site.

that's 8bit, not 4bit lol

No i checked the Control Panel for the Seetings it was set to 4bits!
The options were
-4 bits
-8 bits
That was it!

196.21 is too outdated, the 197 series had some complaints and one of them a flaw that could stop the cooler and destroy the card, it was removed from the Nvidia site. but, it's 258.xx the last time I looked.

I know my drivers are a lot outdated but i dont want this to happen again.When i reinstall WinXP>7 ill update them anyway.
