Huge FPS drops in almost every game

Just like in the subject, it doesent matter that it is tekken or metal slug every game is dropping harshly, one for a moment one for longer. I think i configured everything properly, heres my system spec.

Intel i5-4590
GTX 970
8 GB DDR3 2400MHz

Your specs are fine, so it's probably your settings.

What version of PCSX2 are you using and can you post your non-default settings?

check your cpu temps too

PCSX2 1.4.0 but i tried 1.2.1 and have same problem, temps are around 50C

what di the ee% & gs% say when you get slowdowns ?

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

What resolution are you possibly running that game in? or are you using GSDX in Software mode?

Baldurs gate has massive system requirements and does have slowdowns, there's nothing you can do about it on that game.
