I NEED HELP!! ASAP
#1
My bro is at the store trying to buy a ram card. I have a p4s800 motherboard. According to this it says those cards are the only ones compatable. Is this true? I cant fit a pc2 card in here?

EDIT: or rather, what do I need to know if a card is or isn't compatable?
Windows 7 - Asus G73jh-a1 - 17-720qm @ 1.6 GHz (2.8 GHz)(2.4ghz)(1.73ghz) - ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 @ 700/1000 (sometimes oc to 800/1100) - 8 gig ram

right now I should have 2 512MB ASUS-512MB-PC3200-D 512M-PC3200 cards inside my pc. Should I get the 1gb ddr4?

EDIT: note that I cant scan for compatability since I'm not on that cpu with that mother board at the moment.

EDIT: at the same time, I'm googleing and trying to find my info. If my motherboard was compatable (not sure) with the pc2 with 2gb, I can only get another pc2xxxx card and not pc3xxxx correct? According to the site though, I can only go up to 3gb or slightly higher probabbly so getting 2 gb cards is useless. My best bet would be getting 3 ASUS-1GB-DDR400-D 1.0G-PC3200 cards right?

I might have answered my own question. I only asked to make sure and to find out quicker but you guys were too slow in answering.... O well.
