Hi

After configuring the PCSX2 i started getting strange behaviors from my pc.

It did a CPU freeze and then recovered!! Also it kept opening and closing my external HDD!!

Should I be worried?

Thanks.

How exactly does a external hdd open and close? I did not realize they came equipped with those particular mechanical abilities. And when you say cpu freeze and recover do you mean you got blue screen error or that windows just crashed and restarted.

Yes i have scanned for malware using ThreatFire.

When the cpu froze the screen turned black for a second and then came back to normally operating nothing was closed or shutdown. And then win 7 notified me that the AMD cpu was shutdown and recovered.

Strange is in it!!

Try something like Malwarebytes for scanning malware.

Anyway, it sounds like your hardware is a bit flaky. Try running a stress test like Prime95 or OCCT and and see if you can run the stress test without issues.
