I can't get the game to work
#1
Hi,

I just tried to play with PCSX2 for the first time today.
I configured PCSX2, as i was told in the Guide.

I have >WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2009< as an image.

1. Problem:It runs perfect at first, but when u try to start a match, the lower half of the screen gets (and stay) black. But the game keeps on running, until the Match starts , there it begins to stuck and after 1 or 2 seconds it completely crashs and nothing moves.

2. Problem: I SOMETIMES have the problem, that I only see the upper left corner independent on the size of the screen.

Can u help me? Can it be the image?

And the second problem is, that it's seems to run to fast..
I configured PCSX2 to limit the frames, but 50 Frames/s seems to be to much.

PS: Sorry for my bad English. Unsure

that's the normal speed for PAL games, why would be a little too fast Blink

Hi, I solved the problem with the black screen and the crash.

But I noticed, that 50 frames/s are too slow, I would need 60 Frames/s , but if I change the CPU configuration to "normal" It's much too fast (140 Frames/s). Where can I set the Frames/s ? I can find a field in configuration--> CPU.

you could just put 0 in the text box that is in config->cpu. Smile (you have to have limit set for it to work)

There is no Text Box...

If you are trying to play a PAL game, you do not need 60 fps. PAL games run at 50 fps.
