I have Probleme whit Tekken 5 and Soul Calibur 2
#1
Hello.

I come from Germay and for me it's better to write German. It's ok???

Otherwise, I try with the help of google translate

Soo..
I have the new PCSX2 und this Game Tekken 5 German and Soul Calibur 2 as ISO from DVD.

Soul Calibur 2:
Thanks to the new version runs the game now, what happened previously with the only graphics version 0.94 had errors and very slow, but my thanks to the developer =)

But:

Unfortunately, running the last level in the church is not as good. As it happens often times, the characters disappear in battle. In addition, you can not select character HEIHACHI, otherwise the game crashes Sad

Tekken 5 are other problems as running, but the character has no eyes (white) and the picture shakes and does not run as smooth as in the other game.

The attitude I've been a bit trie. At the BIOS version can not lie right? Have a U.S. version of 07/02/2002

I could make better and more detailed help, if I could write in German.

Dankeschön =)
Ich versuche schon seid Jahren auf dem PC zum laufen zu bekommen..

Edit: i playing whit the Zero Plugin!

Your BIOS is the right BIOS, so the issue will not be there.

Try using GSDX, make sure to set an interlace mode (stops shaking for Tekken 5).

Try Config->Advanced and set "Clamp modes" to "Full" to stop characters dissapearing.

Hope that helps

Thanks for your help. Well, the BIOS true, then I know it. I also see now the eyes, even if a setting I have not found. Now I have but such strips, which are still going away? Have two pictures uploaded. Is a German image upload server.

is there any way currently to run it at higher resolutions without the vertical bars?

try putting in internal resolution the resolution the game says like that:

and after than set the multiplier at x2 x3 or x4 depending on how strong your gpu is... i dont know if it will work or not but give it a try. that method also is the most correct method of raising the graphics in appearence & stability

It needs kinda specific resolutions for that, try 1020x1020, 1200x1200, 1070x1070

oh, that sucks, some games run fine at 1680x1050 (my monitor's native) but SC II is one that doesn't.

Is this even a "fixable" issue, or should I resign myself to the fact that this is one of a few games that will have to be emulated at native resolution to work right? My main reason for emulating is just to play games at higher resolutions than the original ps2. regardless it's not a very important issue in my opinion, I'm just curious.
