I'm a dumb and can't get the unstable build to compile
#1
So the compiling thingu seems to want Visual studio 2015 which I check I had installed and just keeps failing to detect it.
Unsure what's up with it.

Mainly after the unstable build for some plugin settings that the older 1.4.0 lacks.

Yes I'm clearly being an idiot cause this should be simple...

You don't really need to compile newer versions , you can download them here
http://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/

As for the compile itself did you install the Direct3D SDK ?
CPU: I7-4770 3.9GHZ
Motherboard: Asrock B85M - DGS
RAM: Hyper X Savage 2x8GB 1.6GHZ CL9
GPU: GTX1070 8GB GDDR5
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit

Ahh I'd grabbed it from github haha...
Thanks for the link.

And I may be missing that sdk *shrug*

That buildbot link anywhere on the pcsx2 main area or is it actually hard to find?

There's a link to the buildbot on http://pcsx2.net/download/development/git.html (PCSX2 Site → Download → Git).
Downloads are usually also available on the same page, but a very long line in one of the recent changelogs (commit 36528bb) is currently pushing the download column off the side of the page...

It's pretty clear I must have been kinda blind then haha.
1.5.0 seems to work pretty well and the mipmapping options mean more games aren't eye bleedingly bad.

Though I'm not holding out hope for ShadowMan 2econd Coming being emulated correctly for a long time... dunno why that one game has so many issues with emulation.
