I'm awaiting future decent Nvidia DX11 fanless card for PCSX2

I'm still not urgent to buy a new Card in favour of other business to do,
Indeed I put the GPU-intensive games at the end of my schedule. Tongue
As I'm still watching the development of Nvidia Card,
Most likely GT 540 meet my requirement I expect it equates to 9600 GT plus DirectX11 support.
I guess the tdp of GTS 550 will be 100 W or so higher than 60 W I am expecting almost the same tdp of my 8600 GT.

I'm intending to replace my 8600GT. The major's PCSX2 with no PC Games at all.

The key is DX11 will be crucial or not in future in PCSX2 Gaming, probably the developers knew it exactly. Although DirectX 11 in GSdx is not implemented yet.

If so or uncertain, I'll continue awaiting fanless Nvidia DX11 cards to be published.

If not, I'll buy GV-N98TSL-1GI which is a fanless 9800GT. Becuase it's hard to find a well-designed FANLESS Video Card target for mid-range nowadays. And I'm afraid that card will retire or disappear from market in near future.

Don't worry, I'm able to get along with fanless Video Card, as three years experienced with my fanless 8600GT.

Don't lure me with ordinary Video Card having a fan attached in which I dislike that type and style. The preference's fanless Video Card anyways.

Thanks Dude.

Why would you want a fanless gpu? It's not asif you look at the gpu anyways.

i dont think a decent fanless 4xx series card will come out cause of the heat problems in this generation of nvidia cards, its like a stepping stone for the next that will "hopefully" not have these problems Tongue

Because I hatred noise, even a 12cm fan spinning at around 700 rpm the noise can't be ignored in my ears.

Currently my 12cm fan is customized spinning at 500 rpm.

I think the majority of humans are getting used to or can bear the computer noise.

I always have music/game sounds on.
Can't you just get a normal gpu and downclock it/lower fan speed?

well if you have a good case the sound comes out reduced so you can just buy a card that has a fan but you know it doesnt runs hot so you can have the fan below 50% or 30% where you will not be able to hear it. your cpu cooler doesnt have a fan? it makes an amount of noise... so make the gpu to match that amount or be slightly less so you will not be able to hear it cause of the noise of the cpu fan.

if you still dont want any kind of fans i dont think any nvidia card will be good in the 400 series.

A fanless 5750.
I guess this is the best you'll find with dx11.

I always keep it silent even at night when that time is sound-sensitive, little noise can be heard even though they can't be heard during the day.

I don't think so. Ordinary cards are usually with a THIN heatsink designed for fan cooled, apparently not designed for fanless thingy.

Similarly I was thinking of bought a normal card and replace it default cooler with an dedicated VGA Heatpipe Cooler attached my 12cm fan spinning at 500rpm. but this perhaps void the warranty of Video Card.
