First of all, what do you plan to use the system for? If you just want the best of the one listed above, then the Core i7 920 gives the best performance. Keep in mind that you'll need a good mobo and pair of RAM if you intend on Overclocking.
Intel Core i7 920 @ 3.6Ghz
6GB DDR3 RAM
Nvidia 275 GTX Co-Op
HDD 2x750GB Raid 0
Mobo - Asus P6T
OCZ Game XStream 700W
Window 7 Ultimate

+1 for i7-920 too. if you live near microcenter, they sell the i7-930 for 200 bucks (usually 300 bucks).

i7 920, by far. Smashes AMD in benchmarks, and easily overclocks to 4GHz with upped voltage and a decent cooler.
Intel Core i5 3570 | 8GB DDR3 | Radeon HD6870 | Windows 7

AMD without a doubt. This is an EXCELLENT combo with a Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition and Asus M4A79XTD EVO mobo...

The 955 BE is very affordable, overclocks easily, and is a very quick chip espically paired with that mobo. Can't beat that deal either.. $279.98 for the cpu, mobo, Call Of Duty 2, and a $10 rebate on top of that.
