Truth is, cpu heavy programs need to use a lot of cpu and thus generate a lot of heat. That means you need more cooling, something laptops are very thin on. Moreover, how much will you spend to marginally increase close speed? You are not hardly increasing what matters most, system bandwidth, you're using another c2d with same fsb and L2c, right? You will not see a real 20% system increase, more likely 10% for an app such as this. It will help yes, but you'd be better off putting a nice desktop together if you can.

Im not really into desktops...im mostly interested in portable stuff!

Seems like its a NO-GO for now

Maybe collect money for a band new lappy... Sad

better spend to a desktop.ur can play in big screen lcd rather than play in laptop.

fully gaming in laptop can cause short life span or damage ur inside hardware part.

but that just my opinion since ur already have a laptop
