ICO and PCSX2

I have the PAL version and it works fine in all the builds I've tested including r1732 and r1888 legacy build. The only other thing you have to do to avoid a ghosting problem is to go back to r1584 gsdx, then it looks and runs fine.

I can confirm it doesn't work. Using beta r1888 and "execute" command I can get into menu where u choose language but controls are not responding and graphics are not 100%. Hovever, as I wanted to start playing it just right now am going to investigate so stay sharp! Smile I'll update soon..

EDIT: AND took me less than 20min including eating 1 conserve Wink
So... game works, problem is Lilypad plugin - the only plugin in beta included for input. I copied SSSPCX pad plugin from 0.9.6 and gues what...
I like this one much more anyway, so simple and works well.
As someone mentioned, I too get ghosting but this is less problem now and I will figure it.

EDIT2: That ghosting is actualy related to character shadows, running in DX10 software more and native rez. everything is perfect. I still have 1 problem, when trying F1 for save-state, I get crash. It happens in HW and SW mode, going to look deeper into it NOW...

EDIT3: Ok save-states are really messed in beta, I tried 0.9.6 and they works - no crash. I also got rid of ghosting of character in HW mode and 1600x1200 native with its default gsdx, but got fog texture half screen towards character. That now doesn't matter though. Hope it helps.

I have just tested this AGAIN, and it DOES work.
Tested on 1732, 1888, 1917, and 1917 Intel C++ version, lilypad 0.10.0, and GSdx 1584 (the version without the scaling bug), and I can move up and down on the first menu and there is no gfx problem. Went ingame, and the controls work fine, hit F3 to test a save-state (done with a slightly older Pcsx2) and that also works fine.

Weird, my lilypad worked just fine on the beta maybe you forgot to configure something? also for save states yeah you may need to use Lilypad for them to work correctly on the betas.

Thats strange only I have this problem, but it was always reproducible. To make things clear:

-r1888 all default plugins(Lilypad too) = game start until language menu and is NOT freezed but controls doesnt respond. If that help, am using X360 gamepad. Plugin is set correctly.

-same as before but with SSSPCX plugin instead = game start and can play, start new game > skip cutscenes until u can control character > then F1 and get crash... (0.9.6 + SSSPCX = ok)

F1 crash until now only this game and this beta(with SSSPCX). Using Windows Server 2008 x64 standard but its same as Vista x64. Exception is 0x0000005 - famous Wink). I DID setup "data execution prevention" properly as many other options, don't think this is it.

Maybe u people have no freeze because u actually use default Lilypad plugin but u don't use x360 pad so plugin works and u can go ingame?

Can you post a screen of how Lilypad is configured?
