[ISO]Custom Sonic Unleashed
#1
Music
OK so i extracted the game ISO
then i made some modifications in the sounds
but when i make a new ISO the game wont boot.it reads the ELF file
but it wont load the game data
Im using ImgBurn,but still cant figure it out
is it possible to do this?!!
(and somehow the image sectors are less?!!?)
anyway with my iso it says
* CDVD Disk Open: CD, 1 tracks (1 to 1):
* * Track 1: Data (Mode 1) (1766944 sectors)
on normal iso it says
* CDVD Disk Open: DVD, Single layer or unknown:
* * Track 1: Data (Mode 1) (2285616 sectors)

The modifications you did killed the game so you did them wrong. I don't think anyone in this forum can help you, ask at the place where you read how to do these modifications.

i dont see how i broke the game just 1 AIX file and 2-3 ADX files
only sounds,im just saying if i made the iso the wrong way

P.s. I did it myself i did not read anything
1.Unrar ISO with Winrar
2.Make Modifications
3.Make new ISO
well thats what i did...
i hope its not copyright protection issues...

If the unmodified game works and the modified doesn't, it's certain it's your modifications and not the emulator, quite obvious.
Things might not be as simple as you think, the files might be expected to be of a certain size or have certain data. Blindly changing files without having an idea how these things work will lead to problems like this.
Again, I don't think we can help here, it is clearly not an emulation issue.

Use official cd.dvd rom generator from SONY for building your iso from files. Be sure file position (LBA) of original and modified files are matched as much as possible. When you done, export as .iml file. There are a lot of guides how to use cd.dvd rom generator you can find in google.
Then import IML file in to Apache and build your iso.

You dont need save original size of files Smile In cd dvd rom generator you can move up or down files or folders. Just save an original files trees.
