Impossible to me (Without Vsync)
#41
there is alot overhead to vsync if you cant keep the multiple of 60hz with vsync your gona get performance drops like was mention earlier in the topic I should know my old pc was similar spec to his and i had issue with performance with vsync on. FFX was probably one the few games that ran 60fps or atlest good portion of the time with sync. Soon as i went from e8800 to i7 with same old 9800gt
i saw huge jump in performance in alot of games. then i saw even bigger jump in pcsx2 performance when i went to 450gtx then 660gtx.

Vsync will cripple your frame rate if your cpu/gpu cant keep your refreshrate it will start droping by multiples till it can keep up.

And it not Vsync it applies its form of vsync or screen buffer depends on how you wana see it, as desktop composition is not caped to your refresh rate in anyway. but the performance hits from it is still there is just not compounded by being limited your your refresh rate
