Inability to read PS2 CDs
#1
Could someone offer some assistance please? It appears my macbook is incapable of reading PS2 CDs. I put it in and it whirs for a few seconds, slows down and pauses, then it starts up a bit and stops, starts up again and stops again, and keeps doing this. I can't access the CD drive to browse it or eject it. PCSX2 also doesn't seem to recognise that I have a CD drive.

The issue could be that the CD is scratched and/or dirty, or the CD-ROM Drive of your mac is broken.

Some drives aren't good for reading the discs, you could make ISOs from the discs in another computer and then transfer the ISO to your computer I guess.
