I would consider that more a good thing that integrated graphics are starting to reach decent levels tbh. Obviously no where near as powerful as the top tier cards, but it can hold it own at the entry level.

I agree, I'd love for more entry/low cost machines to be able to do more. I love laptops, and I never expect desktop performance out of them, but until recently you had to get a discreet card if you wanted to be even able to play some games at all.

I'm glad Intel and AMD are getting their acts together and able to get most games working, even if just on low settings. APUs are getting to the point where memory bandwidth is becoming the more limiting factor, which means once DDR4 comes out, they'll get a lot better really quickly.

Exactly. Hell the HD 4000 can play crysis 1 (dont have 2 so cant test) at high settings with 2x AA at fully playable speeds. A few years ago people wouldnt have even thought that possible.

Hell from searches I can find, it can even run crysis 3 at low settings at around 20-25fps. For someone like me who doesnt worry too much about fps, thats quite playable.

I think that's why you're running 4x in hardware mode, not because of the HD4000 Wink

That said, your CPU is roughly half the speed of the OPs so software will run much better.

Yeah ik was just saying Laugh

Still AMD has the integrated market dominated. Isn't there best APU the strength of like a Nvidia 650 is? Now that's impressive. Of course running PC games and games n a emulator are completely different in terms of performance.

Is that the HD 7660D? If so then its slightly better than the 630m, so better than the HD 4000.

And even though pc gaming and emulation is different, using pc games as a reference can still help with displaying strength of a gpu in general.

i can run crysis warhead in my laptop at 45-50 fps on my Intel HD 3000.
at medium settings, some at minimum.4x antistrophic filtering which is the option in Intel Hd graphics properties (i think it's same as anti aliasing )

btw crysis warhead is the 2nd game in the series ?
