Invalid [Bug Report] Escaping chars in output of PCSX2
#1
Hi.

I have background logs which keeps track of output of programs I run and always when I close PCSX2 I get:

When I just cat it to the console it looks normal:

But when I open it in Vim it looks like this:

So I guess there is something wrong with color escaping in logging function.

PS: Didn't know where to post this since most of bugs here are for games, but I hope it doesn't bother anyone.

I'd suggest vim doesn't support inline colours like that.

apparently it seems that Vim doesn't support these console color codes, so It ends up with the result of the console writeln codes for the colors.

Moved this to invalid subforums since not an issue of PCSX2.

Thank you for your report.
This bug report has now been marked as Invalid since it either was not reproducible, not a valid bug or otherwise unacceptable for fixing.

This thread will now be closed and moved in the Invalid/rejected/duplicate bug reports subforum.
