Ok, I reinstalled it and put it in my docs folder and still same problem error, I don't know what I did wrong, here's the last part from the console:
"# Initialize memory (rev:3.63, ctm:393Mhz, cpuclk:295Mhz detected) NVM File Not Found , Creating Blank File NVM File Creation failed! Closing DEV9 Closing FW Closing USB Closing CDVD Closing SPU2 Closing PAD Closing GS Stream exception: (pxInvokeActionEvent) File could not be created or opened.(thread:EE Core) File/Object: C:\Users\Daddy\Documents\PCSX2 0.9.7\bios\scph39001.nvm" I really don't understand what is going on with this error.

have you tried running PCSX2 as admin? (reguardless of where it's installed) if it still doesn't create that file, create it yourself.

Well, I do have as admin as it is in the beginning, but how would you create a file like that though. I'm new to programming fyi.

Reinstall it ,try to simplify the installation path of 0.9.7, e.g. C:\0.9.7 if you have no idea on better choice, and run pcsx2 as administrator.

I have the same error message when I'm trying to load my game DVD or the BIOS, saying .NVM file cannot be created or opened. But I DO have the .nvm file, and also rom1.bin, rom2.bin and erom.bin files in my bios folder. Since we have only one TV at home (and its used by the family most of the time) and that I have no video input on my video card to plug my ps2 directly on my computer, my only alternative left is to use an emulator, and it seems only version 0.9.7 is able to run Final Fantasy XII correctly according to the compatibility list. I run my computer under Windows 7 and as the administrator but still get a load of error messages denying access to certain plugins. Here a copy of the console:
Quote:PCSX2 0.9.7.r3113 - compiled on May 29 2010 If nothing can be done for now, maybe a future update for PCSX2 might help with this. If I can be sent a email when a new compilation is available, that would be great. P.S. I'm trying to run the game from the original DVD since I am unable to create a .iso file from my game DVD (burning process failed in Nero 9, and other apps I tried end up "Not responding").

even in documents it fails? run under admin in compatability and that SHOULD solve that problem. if on win7 you can also lower your UAC rating to system changes only (the 2nd level) that might also help

Hi,
The plugin made by Gigaherz, "DEV9giga_razi.dll" doesn't work on the beta version 0.9.7 : when I try to use it, Pcsx crash. Any ideas how to fix it ? Thanks |
