Is it better to use BIOS from a Fat or Slim?
#1
My backwards compatible PS3 recently died, and the optical drive on my old PS2 died long ago. I was going to use my fat PS2's BIOS, but I can't find the power cord. If I'm going to buy another one, I want to make sure that I buy the one with the best BIOS. So is there a difference. In the compatibility list I'm seeing mostly slim PS2's were used.

From my experience it doesn't really matter. I used a later PS2 slim BIOS but the BIOS revisions won't make any noticeable difference in running the games.
