Is it real to run Neo Contra correctly?

Now I have 3 versions of the game - US, EU and RU (unofficial fans version). They aren't playable. Stage 1 freezes at the first location. Stage 2 freezes too but at the beginning video. Here is my log for EU version.

I use one of the latest revision. Plus I use EE timing hack and copy the patch into the folder "cheats".

Yes, I've enabled.

Can you advise how to know the SLES or something like that for the concrete ISO file?

Maybe I use wrong versions.

There was no message indicating that pcsx2 tried to load cheats. Are you sure you enabled system->activate cheats?

Please attach the pnach file you used.

I use the patch from here - http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Fixing-unplayable-games (Neo Contra [SLES 52510] (E).zip (Size: 358 bytes / Downloads: 64) ). Here is a link - http://forums.pcsx2.net/attachment.php?aid=56638. I copy it into the folder "cheats" and "cheats_ws". These folders are in the main folder of the emulator. Plus I copy it into the folder "C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\PCSX2\cheats_ws". It's the global folder. It was created when I installed the emulator.

I don't know why but the emulator doesn't load any patches for all versions which I have. The message is "Patches: No CRC, using 00000000 instead."

Thanks to this thread I had a good look at this game. I think I have finally correctly patched Neo Contra and it can be considered fully playable now.

Improvements in this patch-

1. No need to enable eetiming hack.
2. You can use all speedhacks.
3. Game doesn't hang on pressing start or select.
4. Game doesn't hang when too many enemies are killed together.
5. No more spam messages in console.

Only thing that doesn't seem to work is intro fmv for level 2 but it can be skipped by pressing start anytime.

But this needs testing. I am attaching patches for both pal and ntsc versions. People please test thoroughly and report so I can update the patch both in my thread and in gamefixes.

1st level still hangs (somewhere in the middle after the first boss, with hit-rate at ~48%), VU load 100% and vif Unknown VifCmd! spam.(SLUS)
Hangs randomly in SLES. Seems like the more intense action, the more chance the game will freeze. It also hangs near every 1/4th of this level. At least pause screen doesn't hang constantly. Playing with video plugin and EE/VU setting gives nothing.
