Is this a new problem with Jak & Daxter or new Nvidia driver problem?
#1
I've just updated to the new Nvidia drivers and now there seems to be a shadow issue in Jak & Daxter that I don't remember seeing before...but it's been a while since I ran the game, so can anyone else confirm that this is a new problem or not?

It's there in software or hardware mode in DX9 & DX11

Using the MSVC 18.00 AVX2 plugin...changing to any other doesn't make any difference.

DX9 Software Mode: the shadow being cast is obviously wrong and is now there permanently (I've not finished the game so I can't say whether it fixes itself in later levels)

Unfortunately that only works in Hardware mode...which I don't use because of the rendering errors in this game on the main characters.

Thing is, I'm almost certain that this issue wasn't present in software mode before updating to the latest drivers..but not 100% certain which is why I was asking.

Ok..fair enough, I may have been mistaking the issue with another game, like I said it's been a while since I fired this game up because I only recently got a PC capable of running it at a decent speed.

Thnx.

I wish the game was fully compatible. I got Jak and Daxter the Precursor legacy for the ps3 because I couldn't properly emulate it.
