Jagged and crashed found in DMC3
#1
version : pcsx2-v1.3.1-589-ge3adf82-windows-x86
HW : Core i5 5200u, HD Graphics 5500, 16GB of RAM - Native Resolution

I'd like to show these DX9 and DX11 drawing comparison to PCSX2's dev team.

Though, I'm not sure which one is more accurate to actual PS2, haven't played in actual PS2 for years. All I can see here is DX11 draws the game with jags in some texts, lights, and shadows.

DirectX9 (Hardware)

DirectX11 (Hardware)

DirectX11 (Hardware)

DirectX11 (Hardware)

DirectX11 (Hardware)

And this is the crash I've found after fresh new game, no save/savestates from older PCSX2.

Describe : Firstly, the game stopped every playback of sounds/bgm, it became 100% silent while the picture is still able to animate, then 3-4 seconds afterward it crashed as shown in this picture.

This crash is rare, most of the time the game runs fine.

Please provide a screenshot of your audio plugin settings and GS dumps for debugging the potential graphical issues.

Here they are :

More than 1-Linear will make the sound stops short every 2-3 minutes.

try using the safest preset and check whether you could observe any crashes. also you haven't provided the GS dumps yet

It looks like your texture filtering is turned off in those pictures.

Can we see your gsdx config?

I think DMC3 renders perfectly or very near perfection? It has to be something with the settings.

Ooh actually thinking about it, you may need to use opengl hardware with the accurate options ticked, or enable hwhacks with dx11 and make sure the crc box is set to full

Sorry, I can't use OpenGL. Gregory said I'm using a wrong Intel's driver ? Which I don't understand at all. And where can I download the open-source driver he was talking about ?
