Jak X Patch not working.

I downloaded the patch. Enabled cheats put the patch in the cheat folder in the installation directory, have also tried it in the documents. And nothing it doesn't even say there is a cheat there. I'm using the NTSC version of the game and of the patch. I don't know what I did yesterday because the game was working. I changed the setting around after it didn't work, clean settings changed settings anything and it won't work. Any help?

When it worked yesterday I went off a youtube video to change the settings I went back to it today and the settings didn't let it load...
Other games work fine.

I have left the game running since I posted and its still stuck just after the ps2 screen if I switch to hardware it still shows it at the very bottom of the page.

Did you moved your patch anywhere? It says no cheats loaded. Try checking the inside of your patch.

No patch is still in the installation directories cheat folder.

Just downloaded the patch again. Still nothing. And they both looked the same via notepad..

Hmm...okay.
Try downloading the GIT version, and put the patch there in the cheats folder.

Now it works... Hmm... weird... What was wrong with the normal version of pcsx2?
