Keeping game speed @ 100%?

New to the forum and new to PCSX2.  I am playing FF12 on PCSX2 1.4.0.  It's working almost perfectly; however, I'm having a little bit of trouble with the game speed.  It seems to oscillate frequently between 98% - 101% making it juuuust annoying enough to throw off game play.  

My machine specs: win 10 home, i5 1.3-1.9 GHz, 8GB 64 bit system.  

Any existing threads or simple tweaks? Thanks

I'm presuming that's a laptop? But you could try the MTVU speedhack, it might just be enough to stabilise it
