I'm not sure what exactly an iso is.
I don't see anything in my files...

I assume since I'm using a PS2 disc, I should press [Get From Disc], right?

Now this window pops up.

I still require an iso image or something.
Do I download the file somewhere or what?

Sorry for all the screencaps.
I'm bad at describing this sort of stuff.

Use imgburn to create it from your dvd disc.

This isn't what I would normally call a DVD, it's a PlayStation 2 disc...
Just for clarity on terminology, a PS2 CD is a DVD??

I'll download this burn program and try this out...

A real PS2 disc is normally the size of a DVD.
Just think of it like a normal, blank DVD that is filled with a PS2 game.

There is no PS2 CD; CD was used by PSOne.

Makes sense.

That's why PS2 discs are silver on the bottom like DVDs instead of black...

Maybe.

The program is still downloading.

Every solution just seems to beget me more problems, and the goal so close moves farther away.

So, here's what I did.
I downloaded ImgBurn.
It didn't find anything in my disc drive so I ejected and pushed it back in the drive.
It found the disc and I told it to read and convert into an image file.
It started up and a few minutes later this error appeared.

More solutions, problems, etc, etc.

So, here's my situation now.

For some reason, I couldn't get the imgBurn program to work on my laptop so I moved it over to my main computer, made an iso image from my Harvest Moon PS2 DVD, and then moved that back to my laptop.

For whatever reason, the same file- even when in the same location looks different depending on which computer I'm looking at it through. On my main computer it says ISO image, while on the laptop it says it's a WinZip file. When I look at it's properties it still says it's a .iso, so I put it in that spot in the ISO CDVD Driver config where the image file is supposed to go.

The problem I'm having now, is the Pcsx2 wont start up when I go to File>Run CD/DVD.
A blank window opens and a second later it says "PCSX2 0.9.6 has stopped working" and closes.

Judging from your screenshot of ImgBurn, may I take a wild guess?

Does your PS2 DVD have a scratch or two somewhere on it?
Or maybe a lot of scratches?

No, that problem is fixed.
It's in good condition, just for some reason it didn't work on my laptop so I just used imgBurn on my main computer.

I'm pretty sure that I was successful in making an ISO image file.
