King Of Fighters Ultimate Match 98 Windows 7

Hi All

I have had no real problems with this game until later builds and the RC build. After one match (roughly, or what seems like a period of time about 5 mins), the match slows dopwn to a crawl. I have 4 gigs ram and an E8400 clocked at 3.6GHz. ATI 4670. This only happens with 98, not with XI and never happened on Vista or earlier builds of Windows 7. Can anyone help?

In Kof98um are some Sprite Filters Options ! With the Default Settings i got
just 40fps on my old PC :o play with the Sprite Filter Options ! and you get up to 20fps more !
