Hey newb here just looking for a quick solution
I'm playing Kingdom Hearts 2 and for some reason the select button on my xbox controller's won't work
i went to the config controller tab on the menu and finding the select button under pad 2 assigned to "right thumb Y +"
so from there i went back to general and allowed direct input from the mouse yet the select button still won't respond to the right mouse button

can you think of anyway that i could end up with a working select button? thanks

How about a key on the keyboard? does that work?

i understand the concept but i'm unsure on how to actually go about doing that
aka i don't know how to do that, the obvious methods don't seem to work

what pad plugin are you using? If you aren't, make sure you are using Lilypad.

yes both controller plugins are set to lillypad 0.9.9

Both? I do believe you are using quite an old version of the emulator. Try updating to the latest beta (which comes with the latest version of lilypad)

With KH2 being a one player game just ignore the "Pad 2" tab. Nothing you do in there will make a difference to the game. Make sure you've got "Pad 1" how you want it and give it a go. Select is an odd one to not work but it doesn't really come up in the game anyway (I'm trying to recall what it would even do). If needed you could easily get away with putting on the keyboard such as on the space bar.
