Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix 60fps hack.

Someone made an updated KH2 Final Mix 60 FPS code to allow the code to be shut off during cutscenes, fixing the double speed FMV issue.

//60fps toggle on (game play, cutscenes ect)
patch=1,EE,D034dca8,extended,00000003

//60fps toggle off (FMV's)
patch=1,EE,D034dca8,extended,00000001

This will put everything in 60fps minus FMV's. You need to copy both over. And have them be at the top of the file, right under the game name/ID and such.
I know this works. I made it. (heavily modded an earlier revision of it.)

According to the same forum:

"that code isn't perfect it will still turn off for some cutscenes"

"some scenes the 60fps will still turn off due to there being too much rendered to render in 60fps."

I'm not entirely sure what this means, it seems somewhat vague and unspecific, so if anyone can find out if some cutscenes/FMVs are glitched, let me know.

I keep all 60 FPS codes in my widescreen archive for all versions and regions of the games.

They're in the Useful Cheats folder in my archive.

These do not speed up music or background animations.

NOTE: These are FPS halving addresses. They are set to 1 by default which halves the FPS to 30. This value can be increased beyond 1 to enable perfect internal frameskipping without losing animation speed.

Hi ! i know your post is from 2013, but i play with Kingdom Hearts PAL FRENCH version and it seems that the hack for the standard PAL version doesn't work with this one  ! any idea pleaaaase ?

Can I get any help on trying to get the hack to work? I pasted the pnach files to the cheats folder and changed the framerate but it seems to still run at 30

As far as i can tell, only version 1.2.1 (probably lower as well) supports this, if you have 1.4 or later, it doesn't work.

Works fine here(KH1/KH2FM)on almost the latest beta.
You just have to enable the cheats and nothing else,no need to change the framerate(that was for the old KH2 hack which doesn't work very well)
