Works for Windows only!!!

get visual studio 2008 (C++/express edition is free)
get TortoiseSVN
install both of them

go to playground on google code
click on checkout
copy the "checkout" URL should be "http://pcsx2-playground.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/"
rightclick somewhere in a folder or a harddrive
and select SVN Checkout...
paste the "checkout" you copied in "URL of Repository"
hit ok ^^
it will ask you if you want to create the folder ^^ hit ok again
wait for tortoise to finish the SVN download

go in the folder you just created
and double click pcsx2_2008.sln
when visual studio is open set the dropdownlist field in the first tool line to Release VTLB
hit F7 on your keyboard
wait till VS finishes compiling (it will tell you if and how many builds succeded,the first time the succeded build count hould be 2 XD)

after that your own pcsx2 PG build should be in the bin folder(the folder is where the pcsx2_2008.sln is)

if you run in to any difficulties.... just go to the compiling guide on the forum!!!!!!!


EDIT: to compile plugins (from playground) and pcsx2PG use the pcsx2_suite_2008.sln
in the bin folder should be a plugin folder !

When I open the "pcsx2pg-vtlb.exe" on it shows that gnu_gettext.dll could not be openned..

If I put the 0.9.4 gnu_gettext.dll I got another error:
Could Not load GS plugin 'plugins':<NULL>

Plx, tellme what I'am doing wrong..



I can't release pcsx2_suite_2008.sln cuz i haven't the gnu_gettext.dll -.-'



Also.. when I release pcsx_2008.sln, Visual Express Edition show me that:

Get one from one of Krakatos' betas and use that. and don't bother with pcsx2_suite.sln, just get plugins yourself, or take them from an older PCSX2 folder. As for bios, you'll have to take it from your system, unless you already have some.

place pcsx2pg-vtlb.exe in the folder containing your other PCSX2 EXEs and it should work fine.

you did right in adding the gnu_gettext.dll

If I put the 0.9.4 gnu_gettext.dll I got another error:
Could Not load GS plugin 'plugins':<NULL>

that just means that pcsx2 is warning you that it couldn't find the GS plugin that is referenced in "pcsx2pg.ini" and it probably won't find the other plugins if you don't have the other plugins in the plugins folder of pcsx2pg.

@Nneeve: I tried that once before, and it didn't fix KH2,so he has to compile it himself and take our advice >_<

The new emulator is uploaded to the usual site now, just so you lazy people know that you don't even have to compile it anymore.
