Kingdom Hearts II: Audio is really slow / jerky
#1
I've just finished Kingdom Hearts I where i had a few lag only while fighting, but nothing serious. So i've started KH: II and in the start screen audio was pretty good. Then i go to play a new game: The cutscene starts, and it's very laggy. It's unlistenable and i can't play with this audio... what can i do? Thank you.

Experiment with a few speed hacks.
But unfortunately, kH2 is more demanding than kHz, and your cpu may be too weak for it.
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

yeah, that chip will struggle and there's a good chance that it won't cut it.

The weird thing is that this doesn't happens on all cutscenes, but only in cutscenes of KH: 1 (memories)
That's weird

Set SPU-2 to Async Mix instead of TimeStretch which should help.
