Kingdom Hearts Pnach Problem
#1
Hello,

I wanted to play Kingdom Hearts [SLUS 20370] through again, but didn't want to grind at the end. So I made a pnach file to give me some of the items off the get go. Below is the contents of my 0F6B6315.pnach :

//Defense Up
patch=1,EE,0AE1492C,byte,00000063
//Lucid Crystal
patch=1,EE,0A374923,byte,00000063
//Power Crystal
patch=1,EE,0A4A4923,byte,00000063
//Shiny Crystal
patch=1,EE,0A434923,byte,00000063
//Bright Crystal
patch=1,EE,0A404923,byte,00000063
//Mystery Goo
patch=1,EE,0A474923,byte,00000063
//Orichalcum
patch=1,EE,0A5B4923,byte,00000063

The codes were taken from Code Twink, listed below:

0AE1492C 00000063
0A374923 00000063
0A4A4923 00000063
0A434923 00000063
0A404923 00000063
0A474923 00000063
0A5B4923 00000063

Omniconvert from codebreaker to RAW and PCSX2CE gave me the codes in the pnach file above.

When activated, the cheats don't work and the console gives a steady string of TLB Miss errors.

I am using the original disc, and can confirm the crc is the same as the file name. The game runs fine without the cheats enabled, and seems to continue to run fine with cheats enabled, but the cheats have no effect.

Any ideas what my problem could be?

What exactly did you do with omniconvert...the pnach format codes are 1:1 the same as the original codes.
The original codes are using V1+ codebreaker encryption

Apparently I had the input still set to Action Replay Max. Cant tell you why, and thanks much for the correction (at work, so cant test the codes).
