Kingdom Hearts - Slows down?
#1
Hi, I am a new user of PCSX2, but I managed to get it to work doing all the steps and is currently playing Kingdom Hearts.

Everything works fine, getting around 70 FPS. However after a while, the game starts to slow down, getting only around 30 FPS and moving in slow mo. Occasionally it spikes to 110 FPS and everything goes super fast. I have tried disabling Framelifting and disabling my background programs but this still happens. All the settings are default from installation. Does anyone have any idea?

My specs:
AMD Phenom 9950
EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 460
4 GB DDR2 Memory
1 TB Hard Drive
Windows 7 64 Bit

Thank you!

your AMD is your main set-back here since it's not a 3.0~ dual or quad
try this trick guide

edit:
almost forgot that 9950 model has the highest TDP rating that could lead to heat may we also show us your CPU temperatures using CoreTemp.
