Kingdom Hearts final mix ursula problem

Have anyone else got this strange bugm where using magic on ursla's cauldron works really strange? It doesn't backfire at all, but there's a number of strange interactions with it:
1. Spamming Fire will cause cauldron to become untargetable
2. Spamming Blizzard causes all ursula's spells to become contained in somewhat of invisible column, like fire projectioles exploding above cauldron, not really going around, and whirpool constantly procing "touch" blue circles somewhere near cauldron border
3. Other spells doesn't seem to have any effect at all

Maybe I need to use some cheat, or specific fix?

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Are you using the 60fps code? If so, try not using it and see if that works.

So, I've done the following: Loaded near Ursula's Lair, went inside, skipped cutscene, spammed Fira, until cauldron was no longer targetable. Then Loaded state again, went inside, skipped cutscene, spammed Blizzara, waited till cauldron exploded with Ursula's magic (it was whirpool with lots of blue "touch" circles happening again)

Did you do an English patch of this game? If so this is what i did to get around this boss glitch (as the English patch makes this boss undefeatable).
download a new fresh unpatched Japanese version of KHFM. Then back up your save states and mcards (just in case, we will not be messing with them though). start the newly downloaded Japanese version of the game. Load your english MCARD save of the game (do not use Save states at this time). beat the boss in Japanese. Then save your game in a brand new slot on the MCARD. Do not use save states, and do not over write any other saves. Now safely close out of PCSX2, open it up again, change the CD to your english patch, and load your save (which title will be in japenese, but worry not.) now that your game has loaded past ursela save your game in another NEW slot on the mcard, still no save states and still do not overwrite. and VIOA LA! it should be working.
Long story Short:
1) download unpatched KHFM
2) beat ursela on unpatched KHFM
3) save game with ingame save not overwriting any saves
4) restart game with patched english and open japenese save.
5) resave to turn its title to english
6) continue on in the best story ark of your life!
