If you're running it from disc you should be using gigaherz cdvd plugin not the ISO one.

Ok tried it out with that plugin, still doesnt work. I got a screen with 'please insert ps or ps2 disc'....

what does that illegal disc thing mean? Im using an actual ps2 disc.

EDIT: I just noticed this, when i click on config -> configure in the menu, this appears on the ouput thingy. Starting from the yellow line cdvd pugin.

Hmm.

I remember getting those yellow messages when I updated my PCSX2 (those Version x = 5 messages)
Then I updated the plugins & those messages disappeared.

So I'd try updating the plugin(s) & see if it works then.

Seems it's not reading the disc correctly, try making a ISO of your game disc with an app like ImgBurn and run it with the Linuz ISO cdvd plugin.

And yeah you seem to have a mess of plugins, I'd backup your BIOS and delete that folder then just get the PCSX2 release from the site and start from there.

Yay its working now. thanks!

I made an img of the disc, reinstalled pcsx2 (which incidently didnt delete my bios or change any configurations), updated lilypad and spu2 x plugins and now its working great!

Ive got one more question though, is there any way i can make it smoother running or better quality? It shakes abit and you can see the horizontal lines running across the screen.

Try the interlacing options, or press F5 in game to cycle through.

I only know of Vertical lines running *up and down the screen* (xD) which...

...can be caused by your monitors refresh rate not *exactly* at the FPS value.

Like say the FPS for NTSC games is 59.94 & the refresh rate of your monitor is not exactly that, you're going to see lines. If your refresh rate is just below 59.94, the line goes upwards. But if your refresh rate is above 59.94 however, the line goes downwards lol.

Unless you can somehow make the refresh rate at the *exact* value of the FPS (which is pretty much impossible), there is no other way to fix that issue without having a huge fps value (high enough so you don't notice it) or by enabling vertical sync.
