Klonoa 2 USA frozen ??

Hello to PCSX team and everyone.

I would like to thank the community of PCSX2 and I applaud your team efforts made this emulator a wonderful success!

I have a question for Klonoa 2 [NTSC USA] (DVD ROM):

1) I run PCSX2 with both DX10 and DX11 modes. The game loaded okay and I was able to play. However, it's just frozen when I played at the beginning before I enter the cave and sometime after the cave.

2) My PCSX2 config:

PCSX 1888
GSdx 2404 SSE 2 or SSE 3
cdvdGigaherz (r23610) 0.8.0
Spu2-X 1.20

and my PC:

Windows 7 Ultimate X64
CPU: Intel core 2 Duo Processor E8400 (2x 3.0GHz/6MB L2 Cache/1333FSB)
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT 512MB w/DVI + TV Out Video
Memory: 2048GB [1024GB X2] DDR2-800 PC6400 Memory Module Corsair-Value or Major Brand

Did you try it with the pcsx2 stable 0.9.6 release? What pcsx2 settings do you use? do you get any type of message in the pcsx2 output window when the hang occurs?

I try it with the PCSX2 stable 0.9.6 release now and it works fine but where is FPU clamp hack ? Look:

Maybe you should try using the search function on the forums and you find your problem.

I did try using the search function for 0.9.6 and I cannot find one. They are mention about beta version that works but I prefer 0.9.6 stable. Anyway, I tried to change something and still have the same result. Here:

Well if they mention the beta works, you will probably need to use that and the tips that thread/threads give.

Hey, fortunately it does work for pcsx2-r0911 beta. This doesn't work with the r1500 thru the latest betas. The PCSX2-r0911 works fine without a problem.
