Hey guys I downloaded your product and with some help through PMs got it working awhile ago. Played FFX which was totally awesome and got myself a logitech gamepad now so exploring some of the other games I had stored away. Overall I am very satisfied with your product and even thoguh I just blew my extra cash on a few ps2 games from gamestop and this controller I guarantee you will get a donation in time to help you guys buy christmas gifts for eachother.

Got a question though I'm running an amd quad core black edition with an ati radeon 5750 and 8 gig ram yet on games like tony hawk especially and GTA the frame rate drops quite a bit, I know from reading in the forums you want to try to have around 60 fps to match the ps2 speed so how can I get this thing chugging better ?

PC specs? PCSX2 settings? Plugin settings? What frame rate do you get currently? What do the EE/GS% numbers in the game window say when you get slowdowns?

Specifically the CPU speed is very important. Sadly GTA games are especially demanding and you may have a hard time getting them full speed on just about any processor (Not sure if it's even managed on the latest overclocked i7's). Not sure about Tony Hawk games as I don't have any to test...

That covers PC specs, you still haven't posted your PCSX2/Plugin settings (screenshots are better) and haven't answered the other questions.

So far all I can say is try some speedhacks and try enabling "Native" in GSdx...

PCSX2 is a PS2 emulator, you want a PSX emulator for that (ePSXe, pSX, PCSX, etc).

ah gotchya ok well screenshots won't do too much of a story cause it's not a steady change but with tony hawk the FPS scales between 20-60. GTA3 is not so bad it goes between 45-60 it's pretty livable for that style of game but with tony hawk it makes it difficult to time things with the speed changing all the time. The EE usually floats around 60-70% when it gets down to the 20-30 FPS and the GS 50-65% when it gets down to the same speeds. Now I'm fairly new to the pcsx2 program so if those aren't the plugin settings you referring to then I'm not going to need help on where to get the info you requesting. I will try enabling native in the GSdx thanks shadowlady,

tried doing native it didn't change anything except make the graphics worse and tried enabling speedhacks for tonyhawk at least but it didn't fix anything course I didn't change any of the settings nor turn on or turn off any extra just enabled and used default speedhack settings, didn't want to mess with too much since I don't know much of what I'm doing with the pcsx2.
