LINUX - awesomnes... and trouble

HI there!

I just recently installed Ubuntu and decided to install pcsx2

i configured everything and poped my FINAL FANTASY X DVD

EVERYTHING IS SO FAST! AWESOME! (at least 2 to 3 times faster than when i used windows!)

but...

i cant get past this screen

everything freezes there

I would really appreciate if someone can help me

I was never able to run PCSX2 at this speed and i really want to play

p.s.

i dont know if this is of any help but i tried using different bios, and played a bit with plugins, but without any improovements

whole pcsx2 "stops responding" @ that part pictured above

I have not tried pcsx2 on linux, but try making a iso of the disc and run that maybe?
Core i5 3570k -- Geforce GTX 670  --  Windows 7 x64

thanks for reply and suggestion, but unfortunately same thing happen...

everything works like charm and than BAM it just freezes there Sad

Change sound plugin to ZeroSPU and check if Multi-threaded mode on (FFX crush on single core). Also use ZZogl -- ZeroGS are missing textures everywhere.

it worked!

Sound plugin was ZeroSpu @ one point so i guess its not that.

But when i turned on Multi-threaded it works!

too bad that i get lower framerate now :/
but i guess i will try to play around and find best solution

importan thing is - it works
