Looking for laptop around 2.5k
will this be enough to play hardcore pc games like skyrim, MW3
but also runing smooth for psx2 especially FF-X2
may i have some other recommendation too?

The first one is clearly better, will undoubtably be able to handle any native-PC game to date and a great share of PS2 emulation.

But for that much cash, I'd think you could get one with better hardware.

These two have a better GPU.

The higher-end GPU will be great for native-PC games, but you may also be able to shop around and find one with a bit faster processor. That will help PCSX2 performance the most (like when you are trying to keep full speed with a harder game to emulate), but will certainly not be necessary for FFX-2.

its the 1st time i have heard of it. the price is cheap and it is equiped with 6990M. they have options to upgrade processor to 2760QM 2.4ghz

Specs and price look pretty nice on that P150HM, and only another $99 to upgrade to the 2760QM.

The P170HM has the larger screen, but cost more to upgrade the CPU... (?)
