I'm interested in buying a motherboard. Do you have any recommendations? Attached is what I currently have.

if you want to change youre mother board you probply need to change youre cpu
Hmm, you haven't post your mainboard, just your processor which is a phenom II x64 940 but the volts could kill it, they are too high!! 1.6 O_O
EVGA 600 +80 PSU
NVIDIA GTX 550ti EVGA 2GB VRAM
OS: Debian Stretch 64bits
OS: Windows 10 Home
i know he is burning his cpu
Actually, i don't think its him phsyically doing that. My CPU is at 1.656v and i can't change it through the bios thats what my HP's locked bios has it at.
Yo can chose any mother board with socket am2+ .
Seriously, I think SpeedFan just isn't reporting the Vcore correctly. Assuming that's an OEM mobo from HP, Dell, etc, it's unlikely that they're supplying higher voltage than spec.
Why do you need another mobo ?
so he can overclock, he mobo is locked
