Low Fps issues - Computer specs good enough?

amd phenom 9600 quad core
3 gig ram
geforce 8800 gt (dx diag is showing 1778 mb total memory.. but i know thats obviously wrong.. pretty sure its a 1 gig card cant remember)

any ideas on how to speed up the fps?

Works fine in ffx , jumps down every so often and its irritating but ive tweaked the settings enough to at least make it playable.

Tried playin wwe 2009 tho, and the fps is fine until u enter a match, than it drops to like 20-25 and the audio and game slows down mega slow.

yes that's pretty much 1 gig Smile (1 gig = 1024 megs)

the wwe games are some of the slowest games to emulate Smile (even on a high-end pc)
Windows 7 64bit
Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200 OC to 3.6GHz, Intel GMA x4500, 1GB DDR2

NinjaMight just work on next guideNinja

Running ffx in full screen mode drastically improved the fps, drops to 40-45 a few times... but otherwise is a steady 50.

No change w/ trying full screen on wwe...

I have a pal version w/ US bios...

possibly ntsc would run better?

whtas the best gfx plugin for amd proc?
