Hello all! I've been racking my brains for a long time trying to make this rom work on my laptop, anyone have a best settings recommendation?

this game is demanding and your laptop clearly isn't designed for intensive tasks like pcsx2

I've actually had it working smoothly before just don't remember the settings I had it on, whether I was using the disc or the iso etc. Also that was before I upgraded the system too. I tend to think the iso route would be less demanding but I'm not sure. Also, I don't have a PS2 or else I would. I'm trying to record a guard saying I'm so hungry and I don't know how to rip that particular sound byte from the disc/image therefore I'm trying to go in manually and play it up to that point and record it myself.

Using a BIOS file with PCSX2 which you have downloaded from the internet or from a PS2 console you do not own is illegal. You must own the console the BIOS file came from (even if it's broken) to be legal.
