MGS3 Subsistence slow cutscenes
#11
I am testing now, it seems like the hardware rendering of MGS3 is alot better now, even though there are still some missing effects
I have GTX 980, what is the new OpenCL option, and why it causes PCSX2 to crash?

It's really better than 1.2.1, but has missing effects, not textures.

Gregory has been working his tail off on GSdx lately, so they might.

The cutscenes work great on hardware mode, probably just have insanley high cpu requirements in software mode. I know the game has big dips in cutscenes in real PS2, but the problem is the sound is laggy because of it. I saw that the max EE and GS usage was 90% and not 100% and I still got framedrops, is that wrong?

Software mode is the one that runs smoothest I thought

Also compliments to gregory.

Is there any chance that in the future (maybe after DirectX 12 will be released)
that the developers will implent the post processing effects into GSDX? Is there any chance that they will also impleny mipmaps into hardware mode (mainly for Ratchet and clank games?)
BTW, this emulator is really awesome!

what graphical glitches are you encountering ? provide a screenshot of it.

There are no graphical glitches.
@OP can't you just go Hardware Mode when the cutscene starts, then shift back to Software Mode when it's over?
