Memcard application isn't working.
#1
Hi! I followed the configuration guide to set up the game, but I've run into an issue; Pcx2 won't recognize that memory cards are placed. The memcard manager was only briefly mentioned in the configuration guide, but it states that if the appropriate card is checked off, it should be recognized as being inserted.

Do I need to create the memory card file somehow?

LIGHTNING ROUND: A far less urgent or important question, but is there a driver that allows the PS3 controller to be used as a gamepad with Pcsx2?

Make sure you run PCSX2 as admin (right click) if on Vista/7 and it should create the memcard files when you run a game or the bios, then try formatting the cards in the PS2 BIOS (use CDVDnull plugin for this) if you still can't use the memcards in your game.

Thanks a lot! That did it right there. I don't suppose anyone knows about the possibility of using a PS3 controller, however?

Should work, no idea about your OS so anyway you want the latest LilyPad plugin and read the note on DualShock3 on the Lilypad thread.

I should have mentioned that it was Windows 7, and I could have sworn I did. Thanks again, I'll try it when I get home from work.
