Memory card not recognized
#1
Hi, i'm playing Gran Turismo 3 on PCSX2 1.6. Since i have massive lags, i found out that the game would run better with the nightly version and Vulkan. So i downloaded it, configured it, and i still have one issue.

I tried using my 1.6 savestate to restore my progress, but it didn't work. I saw on forums that the oly way was to save my game on a memory card, then transfer the card to the newer version of PCSX2, which i did. But when i try to put my 1.6 memory card in the newer version, i get an error : "This memory card is not recognized or is not a valid file type."

Is there a way to actually transfer the memory card from one version to another, or do i have to start over? (And if i'm doomed, is there a knwon way to play GT3 on 1.6 without suffering huge lags?)

Thanks in advance Smile

you're doomed.
GT games are specifically the ones you shouldn't use savestates with.
Basically, relying on savetates is a bad idea, and they arent' cross-version compatible.
In GT3/GT4 case, savestates will toast your memcard.
