Menu screen selection moving automatically [Jak 3]

So, I just downloaded PCSX2, and I believe I have everything set up, and so I loaded up Jak 3, and after a slooooow intro, I get to the menu screen, but the selection bar is just moving automatically, which I assume is either a problem with the iso or my control plugin. Has anyone encountered this problem, and knows a fix? I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

Maybe your thumbstick is ah...sticking? I have this problem with my old Sixaxis, just adjust the dead zone in any emu's control settings

It's a newer controller, like maybe a year over, but that seemed to help a bit, thanks! It's still moving to the left, but only on certain menus.

Okay, I believe I fixed the problem by putting the dpad control in the opposite direction of movement into turbo mode. Now I can use the menus effectively!
