Metal Gear solid 3 pcsx2
#1
Hi guys, i remember last year i try to run this game in that system:
Amd Phenom II x6 1100t 3.4 ghz
Amd Radeon HD 6850
4 gb ram ddr3 1600 mhz Kyngston
Windows 7 64 bits

and the game was unplayable, im talking about 60 fps but with slowmotions everywhere, in some parts even at 45 fps the game was like 2 fps, so here is my question, how the game run in my actually system:

I7 2600k 3.8 ghz
Gtx 580 1536 ddr5
8 gb ram ddr3 1600 mhz Kyngston
Windows 7 64 bits

Can i run the game without those slowmotions, or its a emulator's bug?

It runs fine. Some small frame drops during some cutscenes (in 3x internal resolution), but nothing that makes the game unplayable.

Get the latest SVN build, and turn on MTGS hack.

not a bug it is playable almost the entire game except slowdowns in intros during HALO jump,Battle w/ the fury and using stealth camos.
try using VU cycle stealing at LV-2

i also voted GeoMan as playable

Cpu VU stealing make's grafichs glitches, if i turn on that option my frames are always 60, if i turned off i got 52-60 fps so it's not so bad.

Ok guys ty for the help, im running the game really well at almost 60 fps all the time, with some framerate droops to 52-50, which is really nice, even in parts that my last pc cant handle the game and the cutscenes are very smooth too, gotta love this emulator and this forum, bye guys and thx.
